Landscape and Narrative - Creating a multi-panel artwork | 1-3 July

£395.00

Join me here at The Lund to explore ways of expressing the experience of landscape through the creation of multi-panel artworks.

Working over several pieces simultaneously, all related through a harmonious pallete, mark-making language and aspect to create a narrative of your experience of a landscape. I find this to be central to my walking and drawing practice, and I’m looking forward to sharing my thought processes and ways of working through this course.

The first day will begin with an overview of how different artists work in series, including those that have inspired me directly in my work. We will then spend time in and around the local landscape at Lund Studios recording, sketching and collecting ideas through text, photography and drawing.

The following two days will be in the studio where I will guide you through the choice of your format, materials and themes. The resulting works can be as abstract or as figurative as you choose, working in the materials of your choice.

Suitable for all levels. All materials you need will be provided, though you will need to bring your own brushes. You can bring any extra/specific materials relating to your practice if you wish.

The days run from 10.00am to 4.00pm

Lunch and refreshments included, prepared fresh here at Lund Studios.
